The Macau Insurance Industry Professionals Association (MIIPA) co-organized a 5-hour Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course on Actuarial Knowledge with the Macau Institute of Financial Services (IFS) on 15th and 16th September 2023. Invited Mr. Xerxes Wong, Vice President Head of Regulatory Research Department and also FWD Group Actuarial Vice President, and Mr. Leandro Ao, Director of Actuarial Services of KPMG, to be the instructors. The course discussed the latest actuarial standards and methodologies in insurance, including Risk Based Capital based insurance capital management and product pricing based on the latest International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS17) and embedded value.
