The development of modern finance has been set as a key pillar to drive Macau’s economic diversification. In addition to an upgraded legal framework, talent development emerges as a key component of a successful strategy. A distinguished panel of experts addressed the importance of nurturing and attracting talent to develop the city’s financial services industry in a round-table discussion jointly held by the Macau Insurance Industry Professionals Association (MIIPA), Macau Business magazine and Rui Cunha Foundation on November 21.

The event titled 'Modern Finance and Talent Development' brought together the Chief Representative for Macau of the Greater Bay Area Impact Forum Foundation, Antonio Felix Pontes; BNU Executive Director, Sam Tou; President of the General Assembly of the Macau Society of Registered Accountants, Cally Kuan Ho Weng; and President of the Executive Committee of Macau Financial Law Association, Calvin Tinlop Chui.
